XX MIĘDZYNARODOWA KONFERENCJA TECHNICZNEJ KONTROLI ZAPÓR TKZ 2023 – RELACJA

We wrześniu bieżącego roku w Chorzowie odbyła się XX jubileuszowa edycja Międzynarodowej Konferencji Technicznej Kontroli Zapór TKZ 2023. Jest to największe międzynarodowe spotkanie organizowane w Polsce skierowane do teoretyków i praktyków zajmujących się projektowaniem, budową i eksploatacją obiektów hydrotechnicznych. Tegoroczną tematyką konferencji było „Bezpieczeństwo Obiektów Hydrotechnicznych”.
Z dumą informujemy iż Polski Komitet Wielkich Zapór POLCOLD był współorganizatorem konferencji. Głównym organizatorem konferencji był Zakład Budownictwa Wodnego i Hydrauliki Wydziału Inspekcji Budowlanych Hydrotechniki i Inżynierii Środowiska Politechniki Warszawskiej w współpracy z Górnośląskim Przedsiębiorstwem Wodociągów Spółka Akcyjna, Instytutem Meteorologii i Gospodarki Wodnej – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, Instytutem Badań Stosowanych Politechniki Warszawskiej, Sekcją Konstrukcji Hydrotechnicznych Komitetu Inżynierii Lądowej i Wodnej Polskiej Akademii Nauk.
Podczas ceremonii otwarcia wystąpił między innymi prezes POLCOLD Piotr Śliwiński. W swoim przemówieniu prezes podkreślił rolę współpracy międzynarodowej w kształtowaniu pozytywnej opinii o hydrotechnice w społeczeństwie oraz konieczność wymiany doświadczeń. Poinformował również uczestników konferencji o planach organizacji spotkania klubu europejskiego ICOLD w Polsce w 2025 roku.
Konferencja składała się z czterech sesji technicznych poświęconych działalności Górnośląskiego Przedsiębiorstwa Wodociągów S.A., który obchodził 140 jubileusz (sesja 1) oraz badaniom eksploatacji i utrzymaniu budowli hydrotechnicznych (sesje 2-4). Ostatniego dnia spotkania uczestnicy mieli przyjemność zwiedzić Zbiornik Goczałkowicki oraz Zakład Uzdatniania Wody w Goczałkowicach.
W konferencji uczestniczyły 204 osoby z 20 krajów
This year, during the month of September, the 20th jubilee edition of the Technical Dam Control International Conference TKZ’2023 took please in Chorzow. It is the largest international meeting organized in Poland addressed to theoreticians and practitioners involved in the design, construction and operation of hydrotechnical facilities. This year’s conference topic was the “Safety of Hydrotechnical Structures”.
We are proud to inform that the Polish Committee of Large Dams POLCOLD was a co-organizer of the conference. The main organizer of the conference was the Division of Hydro-Engineering and Hydraulics Faculty of Building Services, Hydro and Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. Additionally, with the cooperation of the following entities: the Silesian Waterworks Company, the Dam Monitoring Centre – Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute, Institute for Applied Research of Warsaw University of Technology ltd. and the Hydrotechnical Structures Division of Committee on Civil Engineering and Hydroengineering of Polish Academy of Sciences.
During the opening ceremony the president of POLCOLD, Piotr Śliwiński, gave a speech in which he emphasized the role of international cooperation in shaping a positive opinion of hydroengineering among societies, thus the need to share and exchange experiences. He also informed the participants about the future plans to organize a meeting of the European Club ICOLD in Poland.
The conference consisted of four technical sessions devoted to the activities of the Silesian Waterworks Company, which celebrated 140th anniversary (session 1) and surveying, operation, and maintenance of hydraulic structures (sessions 2-4). On the third day of the conference the participants had the pleasure to visit the Goczałkowice Reservoir and the Water Treatment Plant in Goczałkowice.
The conference was a success, we received 204 professionals from 20 different countries, having a great international atmosphere .
